What is hard disk partition:-
A hard disk partition is a defined storage space on a hard drive.
Most operating systems allow users to divide a hard disk into multiple partitions, making one physical hard disk into several smaller logical hard disks.
We can do partition in window xp / 7 .
Most commonly used software is EaseUS Partition .

Why use partiotion:-
Sometimes we need to install another operating system or we need another harddisk for other pupose.
How to create partition:
1.
open your EaseUS Partition .
select hard disk that you want to
partition.

After that click on resize/move .
4.
Now resize or partition your desired harddisk by adjusting ruler from right hand side.

Then ok .
7.
Now you will see a new harddisk in
list of harddisk
8.
Now select that newly formed
harddisk and create partition and select whether you want primary or logical
harddisk and give label to your harddisk then ok.
9.
Now it will restart your system
10.
Congratulation you will see new
harddisk.
